Erin Dilworth, Soprano, is recognized for her expressive musical phrasing and rich resonant tone. With experience in opera, musical theater, and oratorio, Erin particularly values performances that foster a meaningful connection with her audience.
A graduate of Millikin University (B.M.) and the Longy School of Music of Bard College (M.M.), Erin makes herself comfortable on stage by making clear musical and dramatic choices. Praised for her dynamic singing and engaging stage presence, Erin has captured audiences with her performances in Opera roles such as: Various Daters (Speed Dating Tonight), Laetitia (The Old Maid and the Thief), Clara (Signor Deluso), Belinda (Dido and Aeneas).
No stranger to ensemble work, Erin performed recently with the Beatrice MasterSingers for the 250th celebration of the Bunker Hill monument and their second annual holiday concert in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Erin’s solo oratorio work includes the Vivaldi Gloria, Mozart Coronation Mass as well as Bach Cantata BWV 51.
Over the past decade, she has also performed sacred music in Catholic churches in the city of Boston, offering comfort and delight through her voice.

A transplant from the corn fields of Illinois, Erin Dilworth has been a performer and teacher in the Boston area for over a decade.

Finding connection with her audience and students through the power of music, she has always been eager to create and share emotional stories on the stage or in the studio.

A private voice and piano teacher since 2011, Erin encourages her students to find their own voice as a musician. She believes that this goal can be accomplished through the release of tension from the body and finding the most natural way for the student to create music. A firm believer in practice, musical literacy, music theory, and musical discovery; Erin works to guide students to make their own choices in their preparation and performance.
